Personal Testimony submission by Nanci  (submitted November 27, 2007 by original author)            I have a company that frequently  entered into contracts with other businesses. I noticed that the other company  consistently overcharged for certain materials in order to enlarge profits.   Although this was deeply disturbing to me, I was reluctant to say anything for fear I might be a whistle blower. Over time however my conscience would not allow me to remain silent.So I confronted my Father  about the dishonesty. At first my Papa was very defensive and warned me to  keep this information to myself. In the end I could not remain silent.   I blew the whistle on the company, which resulted in a federal investigation and  broad media exposure. This is one example of taking JESUS' teachingseriously and following his example of integrity.   Devotion to living in God's way may bring discomfort or suffering. Surprisingly , people who have suffered in this  way often say they are glad they  did what they did. Somehow, they found strength in knowing that JESUS is present in, with, and through  them as they strive to do what is right.   LORD JESUS,GRANT ME COURAGE TO FOLLOW YOUR EXAMPLE, NO MATTER WHAT.
